Westchester Magazine Small Business Awards

The Westchester Small Business Awards feature will appear in the Q3 issue of 914INC.

To be eligible, your company must:

-have 50 or fewer employees

-be in operation for at least two years

-be physically located in Westchester

The companies will be selected from the pool of applicants by our editors based on things like: a compelling business story, a solid track record of success, devotion to customers and community, interesting or unique strategies, success in the face of dire circumstances or intense competition, beating out a big box/chain store in the same industry, other accolades or honors the business have been given, etc. Please include as much compelling information as possible in your nomination so our editors have enough to review. **NOTE: this is not a votes-based story or a “popularity contest” so there is no need to try to gather multiple submissions.

Here is the link to the nomination form:

The deadline for submissions is May 24, 2017. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

Also, here is a link to last year’s Small Business Awards feature, as well as a recap of the event that we hold to honor our winners.

If you have any questions please feel free contact me or our editor, Amy Partridge.

We are currently working a Small Business Awards feature for the Q3 issue of our business magazine, 914 Inc and we were hoping that you could help us by reaching out to your constituents for nominations.

The story will honor 10-15 small businesses that have excelled in Westchester. We are currently accepting nominations from companies around the county, and we are trying to notify as many small businesses as possible so that they can be considered for the story.
If you are interested in helping by notifying your chamber members, please let me know and I would be happy to send an email with further information.
